The Department of Ancient Egypt and Sudan is looking to recruit a
Research Curator for the Leverhulme Trust-funded Amara West project.
Working with the director of the project, this role will involve
research and documentation on the New Kingdom settlement of Amara West
in northern Sudan, with a particular focus on the Egyptian and Nubian
material culture of the town. The position will include participation in
field seasons in Sudan, producing outputs for both academic and
non-academic audiences, liaising with other collaborators on the project
(in the Museum and externally) and taking part in the wider activities
of the Department.
